Position: Machine Learning Engineer

Job Overview:

We are seeking a talented Machine Learning Engineer to join our team at Digiscale. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing machine learning models and algorithms to solve complex business problems. You will work closely with our data scientists, software engineers, and product managers to build scalable and efficient solutions that will drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and implement machine learning models and algorithms to solve business problems.

- Collaborate with data scientists to identify and gather the necessary data for model training.

- Pre-process and clean data to ensure its quality and suitability for training.

- Build and maintain data pipelines to support continuous model training and deployment.

- Evaluate and compare the performance of different machine learning models and algorithms.

- Optimize models for scalability, speed, and accuracy.

- Work with software engineers to integrate machine learning models into production systems.

- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements and trends in machine learning and artificial intelligence.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.

- Minimum of 3 years of experience in machine learning engineering.

- Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, Java, or C++.

- Experience with machine learning libraries and frameworks such as TensorFlow, Keras, or PyTorch.

- Solid understanding of machine learning concepts and algorithms.

- Experience with data preprocessing, feature engineering, and data visualization.

- Familiarity with cloud computing platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.

- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

- Proven track record of delivering high-quality solutions in a fast-paced environment.

Contract Details:

This is a full-time position based in Auckland, New Zealand. The contract details will be discussed during the interview process and will be commensurate with experience and qualifications.
